Stelios Demetriou is the Leader of EY-Parthenon Cyprus and the M&A Leader for Central, Eastern and Southeastern Europe & Central Asia, bringing over 20 years of professional experience. He joined EY after spending almost 10 years in the Corporate Finance Department and 5 years in the Tax and Legal department of PwC Cyprus. Stelios holds a BSc in Finance, he is a qualified Chartered Accountant from the ICAEW (UK), and he also holds the Corporate Finance Qualification from ICAEW, Securities and Investments Institute UK and the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants. Stelios was involved in IPOs and led management buyouts, and numerous due diligence and strategic advisory engagements, identifying and securing new business opportunities. His portfolio includes collaborations with both private and public sector clients, such as banks, asset managers, private equity funds, hospitality groups, ministries, and organizations across the energy, infrastructure, real estate, and education sectors. With more than two decades of experience in transaction services, Stelios continues to lead complex financial advisory projects, guiding organizations to achieve sustainable growth through strategic and data-driven decision-making.
